Today I'm sharing my Red, pink transferware tea cup and saucer made by Ridgway in Staffordshire England.
Queen Victoria
For family tea the Queen would begin pouring tea with the question, "Shall I be Mum?" instead of, "Shall I pour?" This endearing custom continues to this day.
